Your purchase of one, or multiple sponsorships is mostly paying for the shipping to send the care package. Also for the more expensive items in the care package's that do not get donated.
With recent developments, as of January 1st 2025 we will have our 501.c3 tax exempt status. Until then the sponsorship is a purchase which is paying for the package. All American Care Package would actually have to pay income taxes, but as we are a net Zero organization; the organization itself does not profit.
Yes, actually most of the items for the care package's are donated, look to the correct page for the list of appropriate items. For most people its easier to just pay for a $40 sponsorship. This is another thing on their plate, that a lot of families just do not have time for. Please make all personally built packages 21 items so they all have the same corresponding amount. Look to the "Build A Care Package" page for information on where to get the materials you will put the items in.
Summer 2024 will be the start of our 6th year.
Your local community. Although we are nationwide we do not send participants to a new community, or town. Whichever county they are from is where they will participate in talking with neighbors to finish their project.
Currently we do not have ID badges for any representatives. The cost is the main factor, as we are at net zero due to putting all funds towards the objective, and operation's of All American Care Package.
